Nelson Landing Public Hearing tonight

The people behind the large scale multi-use development along Nelson’s waterfront will be seeking approval from council for some changes Thursday evening.

A Public Hearing for Nelson Landing goes at 6pm.

Among the zoning changes requested are for more commercial office space, reducing the size of the proposed hotel, and reducing parking for a marina.

On the residential side the developers are looking to create a so-called Pocket Neighborhood in one area and are also seeking a 20-year build out timeline.
