Crawford Bay Community Park in running for BCAA funding

Planned upgrades to the playground at Crawford Bay Community Park has a one-in-five shot at winning a chunk of funding.

The project made the cut as a finalist in BCAA’s Play Here contest.

The prize is up to $100, 000.

Ellie Reynold’s, Coordinator of the group spearheading the project saw this as a great opportunity.

The winner is determined by whichever community receives the most votes and folks can vote once a day until the end of June at www.bcaaplayhere.com

Reynold’s says the current playground equipment is about 30 years old and in dire need of replacement.
