It’s Fire Prevention Week and Kaslo has put out the call for new firefighters.
Chief Doug Yee says they’re hosting Be a Firefighter for a Night this evening.
Yee says students ages 16 to 18 can apply to the junior firefighter program.
It’s a family event and goes from 6 to 8 p.m. at the fire hall.
