Telehealth technology is being implemented at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.
Dr. Scott Mountain is the director of the intensive care unit at KBRH.
He says telehealth allows them to assess patients in other hospitals.
The technology has been used with Kootenay Lake hospital in Nelson.
Arrow Lakes Hosptal has the equipment in place and Interior Health hopes to set it up in Grand Forks as well.
