Nakusp mayor Karen Hamling has been acclaimed as Regional District of Central Kootenay chair.
She says she stood for re-election because continuity is helpful.
She also notes she’s been able to shorten board meetings from five or six hours to three or four.
Castlegar mayor Lawrence Chernoff was once again returned as vice-chair.
