Nelson misses Intelligent Communities top 7

Nelson didn’t make the cut in the top seven Intelligent Communites of 2017 revealed today.

The Queen City did make the shortlist of 21 announced last October but got no farther.

But two Canadian places are among the seven finalists: Edmonton and Grey County, Ont.

The top cities represent models of economic and social transformation.

But they’re not necessarily the most advanced technology centres or most wired places.
