The Nelson Police Department says it’s noticed an increase in impaired driving in recent days.
Some people have had their vehicles seized and their driver’s licenses suspended due to both alcohol and drugs.
Police also say they’ve received several calls about people openly drinking alcohol and using drugs in the downtown core.
