A number of volunteers are being lined up for the Nelson Police Department’s Restorative Justice Program, but they’re looking for more.
Intensive training will start next month .

Coordinator Gerry Sobie say they have an excellent and varied pool of people so far.
But he’d like to have another ten people to become part of an initiative he says can make Nelson an even better place.
The program offers the chance for first-time offenders to turn their lives around as long as they accept responsibility for their actions.
