BALFOUR, B.C – A wildfire broke out last night near Balfour Face, about 2 km northwest of the ferry terminal.
It was discovered last night, and crews along with helicopter resources were dispatched to the scene.

Crews from B.C Wildfire service are working with the Balfour Fire Department to control it.
On Tuesday morning the outlook was optimistic.
