Kaslo and area’s new fire hall has been formally opened.
As volunteer Fire Chief Douglas Yee explains it allows them to have all of their equipment in one place.
Emergency Social Services also shares the building.
The site was ten years in the making and required electoral consent last year for $1.2 million in borrowing.
It will also serve Woodbury and Ainsworth.
