When it comes to how much Warfield contributes to the Trail Library – it’s a question of what’s fair and equitable.
This from Silver City Councillor Robert Cacchioni who sits on the Library Board.
The two municipalities reached an 18 month shared recreation agreement back in May – that sees the village paying $32,000 annually towards the library.
However, Cacchioni says they’ve looked back at the last five years and calculated how much Warfield should have been paying.
Cacchioni says despite a lack of success in negotiations earlier this year he believes it’s a fair request to put to Warfield for when the current deal expires in 2015.
