Those behind the Kettle River Watershed Management Plan won’t waste any time jumping into action after receiving the stamp of approval from the RDKB.
The Regional District endorsed the water conservation initiative that presents four broad strategies containing 18 directions for management and 59 actions to be undertaken by stakeholders
in collaboration.
Plan Coordinator Graham Watt says they’ve just received approval to move ahead with their first project.
The Regional District began looking at what issues face the compromised watershed and how actions should be prioritized back in 2010.
