Rossland Nurse Practitioner Patrice Gordon -who is being tested for Ebola -was working in Africa with the Canadian Red Cross.
Spokesperson Karen Leiva says she’s passionately committed to her work in Sierra Leone and does not want to be the centre of attention.
Leiva says Gordon is looking forward to returning to west Africa to continue her work there.
