Telus invests big in BC infrastructure

Our region is getting a $6.5 million chunk of the big investment from Telus in BC this year.

Company spokesperson Liz Sauve says they are continually adding infrastructure to stay one step ahead of the huge demand for services.

They’re also updating every wireless site to the latest 4G LTE leading standard and expanding their Optik TV services.

Trail will see $3 million in upgrades. There’s 1.5 million for Castlegar, Grand Forks will receive $1.2 million and Nelson $800,000.

Telus is investing $4 billion into BC infrastructure the next four years.
