The city of Trail is looking to land a modern 24/7 self serving fuel pump station at its airport.
City council made a last minute change to their 2015 budget to make $220,000 Â available for the new 50,000 litre split fuel tank.
It will replace the antiquated infrastructure that has been in place since the RDKB owned the facility.
Airport Manager Don Goulard says there are a number of advantages to the upgrade.
Goulard says the new station will also allow for internet based transactions and accept public credit cards and private fleet cards.

The city profited by over $28,000 from fuel sales the past year and Goulard expects that number to grow.
