RDCK putting on community BBQ

The RDCK is promoting local government awareness week in BC by inviting residents to a free barbecue event .

They want the community to chat with directors and staff and learn more about regional government.

The barbecue happens Thursday at noon at the RDCK offices on Lakeside Drive, Nelson.

Also residents are encouraged to attend the regular monthly meeting of the board which starts at 9 am that day.
