Difficult Trail arena entrance to remain unchanged

No further changes will be made to the entrance of the Trail Memorial Centre…for now.

The facility received a major face lift last year to address public safety and accessibility issues as the front doors open right onto highway three.

However, Councillor Robert Cacchioni believes improvements still need to be made as there are still many concerns from the senior population.


Cacchioni claims 27% of Trail’s population is 65 or older and adds the contractor hired to complete the work didn’t take those facts into consideration.

He says if he is re-elected this will be a major issue for him going forward.
