Nelson police are issuing a public warning after a pharmacy was broken into Sunday.
Narcotics were taken.
Police say based on the type of drugs and the quantity involved there is a serious danger of accidental overdose if they are not used as directed by a qualified physician.
Local emergency agencies have been notified in case any medical situation is reported where prescription drugs have been abused.
