Castlegar surveys community on waste collection

The city of Castlegar has launched a survey to gather public input on the future of their Solid Waste and Recycling Program.

It asks things like how often should pick-up be, what should be picked up at curbside and even if there should be a city-wide ban on plastic grocery bags?

Director of Civic Works Chris Barlow says before forming the survey they polled municipalities across the country.

The questionnaire can be found on the city’s website. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Castlegar15
