What will residents of Castlegar choose in the City’s new Solid Waste and Recylcing Program questionnaire?

Councillor Sue Heaton-Sherstobitoff says they really have no preferred option in a 20 question survey that ask’s about garbage, recycling and organics collection.

Heaton-Sherstobitoff says Council’s priority is to just help put in place the best service for residents at the best cost.

Castlegar’s garbage and recylcing contracts expire this Spring.

Staff also wants to double the amount of waste being diverted from the landfill over the next five years. Check out the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Castlegar15
